Our students can get practical overseas experience in tackling major communication challenges. In the ISCM course, students craft comprehensive destination marketing plans for clients such as the Sri Lanka and Catalan Tourism Boards.
At the start of the programme, students are broken into groups and put into real-world agency situations where they create competing pitches. They are then flown to and immersed in the destinations they are about to market, where they are also briefed by the client. Students will proceed to conduct market research, do strategic planning, media planning, creative execution and consumer testing, right up to the final closed-door presentation to the client.
