Anjan Pal


Anjan is a PhD candidate at Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information. His research deals with online misinformation and fake news. It is being supervised by Dr. Alton Chua and Dr. Dion Goh. Anjan’s works have appeared in journals such as Computers in Human Behavior and Aslib Journal of Information Management. He has also presented at conferences such as Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T), IEEE International Conference on Information Management (ICIM), and Pacific Asia Conference on Information Systems (PACIS). He reviews for journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, Information & Management, and Information Technology & People. In terms of teaching, Anjan has completed two pedagogical courses: HWG702 University Teaching for Teaching Assistants and MCT804 Curriculum Implementation: Major Concepts and Issues. He was the teaching assistant for K6302 Knowledge Management Strategies and Policies (AY 2016-2017). Currently, he is also the teaching assistant for HD0102 Making Sense of Big Data (AY 2019-2020).
