Wee Kim Wee Legacy Fund Undergraduate Scholarship was established from the donations received from the Wee Kim Wee Legacy Fund. This scholarship offered is for the pursuit of Bachelor of Communication Studies in Nanyang Technological University (NTU) only.

Wee Kim Wee Bursary

The Wee Kim Wee Bursary is awarded to financially needy students from the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information.

Perspectives Films Festival 2011, 27 – 30 Oct 2011

Perspectives is a film festival practicum designed to provide students with the skills and hands-on experience of organizing a public arts event. The recent event, with the theme Breakthroughs in Cinema, presented audiences with a selection of films that were banned or considered controversial by contemporary governments and audiences. The films festival had ticket sales of over 1900.

Film Festival Director and WKWSCI undergraduate, Eternality Tan, was featured in The New Paper, in which he discussed his passion for movies and how Perspectives Film Festival allowed him to share his love of movies with others.

A Clockwork Orange, one of the films showcased in Perspectives, was reviewed by The Straits Times.

International Strategic Management Course

In March 2011, 12 specially selected fourth year students studied destination marketing in Spain by attending briefing sessions in Barcelona as well as investigating the tourist attractions. The study trip leads into an assignment-based course: International Strategic Communication Management.
