Application for MSc Programmes and Master of Mass Communication has commenced on 3 January 2012 for the August 2012 intake. All applications have to be submitted through the online application portal. Please go to the NTU Office of Graduate Studies Web page for the online application form, application procedures and tuition fees. Application deadline will be 29 February 2012. 

Interview Locations
(Only MSc programmes will be holding interviews for shortlisted applicants.  There will not be any interviews for the Master of Mass Communication programme.)

Update I (dated 20 March 2012): For the MSc programmes, candidates shortlisted for interviews will be invited via your email address listed in your application form. There are some very strong candidates who may be recommended to be accepted into the MSc programme based on their applications. If you do not receive an interview invitation, you may have been recommended for a direct offer. All candidates will know the outcome to your application end May 2012 onwards via your application account.

Please note that the University has not arranged for any external private agencies to undertake graduate student recruitment on its behalf. All applications are carefully considered by a Selection Committee holistically.

Scholarships for Coursework Master's Programmes

  • WKWSCI Legacy Fund Graduate Scholarship: One scholarship each is available for an outstanding applicant to the MSc Information Studies programme and the MSc Information Systems programme or Top student from the MSc Information Studies and MSc Information Systems after the end of first semester.
  • ASEAN Graduate Scholarship: Only applicants who are nationals of Asean countries are eligible for this scholarship. Recipients are selected via a university-wide competition. The deadline is in December of each year. The application period for ASEAN Scholarship for AY2012-2013 has just opened and the deadline for application is 31 December 2011. For more information on the scholarship, please assess this link:

  • Other sources of scholarship: The National Library Board and the Library Association of Singapore also offer local and overseas scholarships for library science programmes.
