In March 2015, Ruth and 11 other students traveled to Indonesia for the Regional Strategic Communications Campaign (RSCM) module where they visited The Learning Farm to experience what goes on there.
RSCM is one of the many modules that gives students a chance to travel overseas and apply what they learn in the classroom. Selection for this module begins four weeks prior to the semester starting and only 12 out of over 40 applicants were selected.
Student then spend 7 weeks from January to February in the classroom planning and preparing for the trip. During this time, each student is given a specific task that is tailored to their skill – from broadcast to photography and even web design.
